Getting started
Do I need an account?
No. Every resource on the site is free to try, with nothing to install and no sign-up. An account is optional.
What does a free account give me?
You can check your own progress (what you've used, your high scores), and some resources have extra challenges for you. A teacher can also run 2 classes of up to 15 students.
How do my students join my class?
On your class's page (Classes, in your account menu) add them by email, or turn on a join code and share it. Students sign in with their school address.
How do I set up my school?
Sign in with your school email address and open School info in your account menu. If your school is already registered, its school admins are asked to confirm you.
Plans and paying
What do the plans cost?
See Pricing. They're launch prices, in New Zealand dollars and billed yearly. From outside New Zealand you can pay in your own currency.
How do I pay?
By card, on Subscribe: payment is handled securely by Stripe, and your card details never reach us. A school that needs an invoice to pay by bank transfer, or a purchase order, can ask us below.
Is GST included?
No GST is charged: Learn It With Me Limited is not registered for GST.
Where are my invoices and receipts?
Each payment is emailed to you with its invoice attached and a link to the receipt. They're also under Subscription and billing: on your account page, or for a school, on its school page.
How do I cancel?
Open Manage billing (on Subscribe, or your school's page). Your plan carries on to the end of the year you've paid for, then stops.
I have a code. Where do I use it?
On Subscribe, under "Have a code?". A free code starts your plan straight away; a discount code takes you to pay the reduced price for its period.
Schools
What does a School subscription add?
Every teacher and student at your school counts as subscribed, with unlimited teachers, classes and students, more than one teacher per class, and your school's own sign-in with Google or Microsoft.
Can we have our own web address?
Yes: it's an add-on to the School subscription (yourschool.learnitwithme.com, or an address on your own domain). Your school admins can buy it on Subscribe.
Can you make resources for our school, or brand them?
Yes. Tell us what you have in mind below (choose "Branded or customised resources"), and we'll reply with a price. Once agreed, it appears on your school's page to pay.
How is students' information protected?
See our privacy notice. Personal details are encrypted, and students only ever see a leaderboard code, not each other's names.
